Local Labour candidates in Willington, Brian Myers and Margaret Pinkney are proud to represent the controlling party on the current Durham County Council, a council recently reaffirmed as a 4 star authority. No spin from them who want to be your councillors because they are hard working, enthusiastic people with over a decade of senior experience at district and county levels. Their track record shows they are keen to be involved in partnership with the communities they represent to ensure that local residents are consulted and that the local politicians really listen to those they represent. They are both committed to making the new unitary council a success and to making sure that the voices of local people are heard and are determined to act in the best interests of all the villages they represent. Brian and Margaret both support the Labour policies for, safer and cleaner streets, healthier communities, better value for money and a fairer deal for young people.
