GREATER Manchester Police have vowed to catch the kidnappers of the British boy snatched while on holiday in Pakistan.
According to the Punjab Law Minister five-year-old Sahil Saeed has been safe for at least the last four days.
Rana Sanaullah told a local news channel the boy had been released following the payment of a ransom in a third country.
Police refused to comment on claims that a ransom of £100,000 had been paid to guarantee the boy's release.
Detectives from Manchester are in Pakistan heading up an international hunt for Sahil's kidnappers.
A force spokesman said the investigation was "very much ongoing" despite the boy's release.
Sahil, who lives in Oldham, Greater Manchester, was taken from his grandmother's house in the town of Jhelum, Punjab, about 65 miles south of Islamabad, on March 4.
