A DRUG dealer who dealt heroin to people across Darlington has been jailed for more than five years.

Javid Khaliq, formerly of Neasham Road in Middleton St George, near Darlington, admitted one count of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs when he appeared at Teesside Crown Court last Friday.

He was sentenced to five years and five months in prison.

From February 2016 to September 2016, the 40-year-old regularly dealt heroin to a number of users across Darlington.
