A MAN had to be taken to hospital with head injuries after attacked in the early hours of the morning.
The incident happened outside the Talbot hotel in Richmond's Market Place, between midnight and 00.40amlast Saturday and involved two men.
The victim, a local man aged 25, received head injuries and was transported by ambulance to Darlington Memorial hospital for treatment before being discharged.
Police are now requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
