A MAN has suffered a fractured jaw after was headbutted and punched.
The 25-year-old was attacked on Dovecot Street in Stockton close to the junction of West Row at around 2.40pm on Wednesday, April 11.
The victim was walking along the road when he was approached by another male and a verbal altercation took place. He was then headbutted and punched in the face, resulting in a fractured jaw.
He was treated at Middlesbrough's James Cook University Hospital for his injuries.
The suspect is described as being either black or of Asian appearance, around 5ft 10in tall, wearing a light blue hooded Stone Island coat with camouflage, black tracksuit bottoms and black training shoes. He spoke with a southern or cockney accent.
