STOPPED: Police found cannabis in a car which was seen travelling at 104mph on the A1M
A MOTORIST caught driving at more than 100mph also failed a drug test.
The man was stopped by an officer from Durham Road Policing Unit on the A1M near Durham City after he was clocked driving at 104mph.
The driver then failed a drug wipe test for cannabis and officers seized 'his bucket of cannabis' which was found in the vehicle.
A spokesperson for the force said inquiries continue.
