POLICE have charged two men with drugs offences after officers recovered cocaine worth more than £1m from a street in Darlington.
The drugs were recovered from the Park Crescent area of the town during an operation on Wednesday, although details were not immediately released.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged with supplying a controlled drug and a 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged with possession of drugs with intent to supply.
Both men will appear at Teesside Crown Court on January 2.
A third man aged 35-years-old has been arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply and has been released under investigation, a spokeswoman said.
