A NEW police vehicle has been purchased for use in the remote rural areas of County Durham and Darlington.

The tough four-wheel drive Ford Kuga adds valuable extra capacity for the police officers who combat crime on a daily basis in the deeply rural parts of the Durham Constabulary area.
