A WOMAN has been sexually assaulted after leaving a nightclub in York city centre.
Now police have released CCTV images of a group of men who they say may have vital information.
The woman left the nightclub in the early hours of the morning of July 13 before she was attacked.
She was walking in the Bridge Street area before the attack took place
Police want to speak to three men in connection with the attack.
Detectives say the men are believed to have been in the city centre between 12.30am and 1am attending bars in the area of Bridge Street and Rougier Street.
One member of the group may have accompanied the woman to a taxi, police said.
Detective Inspector Mark Pearson said: "These are clear CCTV images and I’d urge anyone who recognises any of the men, including the individuals themselves, to get in touch.
"They may have vital information that could help our investigation."

- A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been "released under investigation" while enquires continue.
