A MAN suffered head injuries following an alleged assault in Crook, County Durham, at the weekend.
Durham Police are investigating a disturbance in the town’s Market Place at about 11pm on Saturday involving two males.
The incident left one man with head injuries, while the other male, from the Crook area, was arrested on the scene.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact the investigating officer Scott Hodgson on 101 quoting incident number DHM-29072017-0590.
