POLICE would like to speak to two men after cash was stolen from a newsagents.
Burglars forced entry into the M&M News newsagents at Haymarket Metro station between 4.50am and 5.10am on Wednesday, May 10.
Cash was stolen from behind the counter before those responsible fled the scene.
Northumbria Police said: "Enquiries into the incident are ongoing but we are releasing these images as we want to speak to the men pictured about the raid.
"They were in the area at the time of the burglary and may be able to help us with our investigation.
"If you recognise the men, or are the individuals in the images, then contact officers on 101 quoting log 100 10/05/17 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
