DRUGS raids in Stockton have led to more than £10,000 of class A and B substances being seized.

The raids, on three addresses on Grove Street on Friday, saw the substances, believed to be heroin and "spice", recovered, along with cash and what are believed to be stolen power tools.

The drugs warrants were authorised after tip-offs from the local community.
A 59-year-old woman and three men aged 30, 36 and 44, have been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug, handling stolen goods, possession of criminal property and abstracting electricity. All four have been bailed pending further enquiries.

Sergeant James Allen, of Cleveland Police, said: “These drugs warrants have resulted in the recovery of suspected heroin and spice, which could have been distributed onto the streets of Stockton. We also recovered cash as well as other suspected stolen items.

“We will always act upon information received and would encourage anyone with information on drugs activity in their local area to contact us on 101 or the confidential drugs line on 0800 0929 702.”
