A WOMAN was assaulted while out walking her dogs on a farm track in Guisborough.
The victim was on a farmer's dirt track at around 10.10am on Sunday when she came across a man also walking his dog.
As the dogs approached each other, the man kicked the victim's three dogs and spat in her face, he struck the woman on her arm and pulled at her.
When the victim got back into her vehicle with her dogs, the man kicked a wing mirror off her van.
The suspect is described as a white man, in his 20s, of larger build and was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a black top and wellington boots.
The man's dog is a chestnut and white bull terrier puppy, aged around 12 weeks.
Cleveland Police are appealing to dog walkers who might recognise this man - perhaps through the breed, colour and age of the puppy.
