Newton Aycliffe Police are appealing for the public's help after a number of vehicles were damaged in the town
POLICE are appealing for the public's help after a spate of car vandalism in Newton Aycliffe recently.
One vehicle in Defoe Crescent had corrosive liquid thrown over it and four tyres slashed.
Two vehicles in Wiseman Walk were also vandalised using corrosive liquid and had two tyres slashed, while a vehicle in Van Mildert Road had two tyres slashed.
Anyone with any information in relation to these incidents is asked to contact PC 2844 Sarah Kelly from Newton Aycliffe police station by either telephone number 101, sending a private message on the station's Facebook page or contacting crimestoppers.
