THREE youngsters - one aged just 13 - were arrested after a Porsche crashed following a pursuit through Stockton in the early hours of Tuesday.
The silver Porsche Boxster was pursued after failing to stop in Portrack, Stockton, at about 3.20am, and officers suspected it might be stolen.
After a short pursuit, the car crashed in Port Clarence and three people made off on foot.
The driver was caught by police at the scene and two passengers were found in marshland after they were located by the helicopter and dog support units.
Police recovered the high performance sports car, a laptop, a handbag and the keys to a second vehicle – all of which were believed to have been stolen in an earlier burglary in the Stockton area.
The three arrested, aged 13, 14 and 15, all remain in police custody while inquiries continue.
