THREE men from the North-East are to appear at Canterbury Crown Court charged with violent disorder.
Simon Martin, 42, of Elm Terrace, Bishop Auckland; Tony Lee Baker, 30, of D'Arcy Square, Seaham, and John Thomas Boyes, 54, of Laburnum Road, Sunderland are alleged to have been involved in an incident in Dover, Kent, on January 30.
Each is charged with using or threatening unlawful violence together in a manner that would cause a person to fear for their personal safety.
At a hearing in Dover Magistrates' Court today (Friday, April 29), no pleas were entered and the case was sent straight to the crown court.
They are due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on May 26.
