A WOMAN has been injured by a syringe during a robbery.
A man entered Teesdale Convenience Store on Teesdale Avenue, Billingham, at about 9.30pm last Saturday (January 31st) and threatened the shop worker with the syringe.
He then made off with cash and cigarettes, along Teesdale Avenue and on to Station Road.
The woman attended hospital and was later released following treatment.
He is described as being a white male, about six feet tall and wearing a grey hooded top with red detail around the hood, and grey bottoms.
