POLICE are appealing for information after a 30-year-old woman was assaulted at Flares Nightclub on Albert Road in Middlesbrough.
The incident occurred at 12.45am on Sunday, November 22.
"The victim was taken to James Cook University Hospital where she was kept in overnight and treated for swelling and bruising to her face," said a spokeswoman for Northumbria Police.
"A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and was released on bail pending further enquiries.
