A TEENAGER is in a critical condition in hospital after being seriously assaulted in Ripon.
The incident happened on the night of Saturday, October 10 on Quarry Moor Lane.
The victim, an 18-year-old man from Ripon, was taken to Leeds General Infirmary.
"The incident was reported to police earlier today (Monday) and officers have secured the scene on Quarry Moor Lane to carry out a full investigation," a spokeswoman for North Yorkshire Police said.
