A MAN is in a coma after he was found with head injuries in the street.
Police are appealing for information after the man was found in Newcastle on Wednesday morning.
A spokeswoman for Northumbria Police said: "At 3.58am this morning we received a report from the ambulance that a man had been found outside an address in Muswell Hill in Scotswood with head injuries.
"He was unconscious and taken to hospital where he remains in an induced coma, thought to be in a stable condition.
"A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding and is currently in custody."
