TWO teenagers have been arrested after a man was attacked with a metal bar at a Metro station.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the assault in Jarrow.
It happened at 7.46pm on Monday, July 27, when the man was hit with the bar at Jarrow Metro Station.
An 18-year-old and a 14-year-old youth have been arrested on suspicion of affray. Both remain on police bail pending further enquiries.
Officers investigating the assault are keen to hear from anyone who was at the metro station at the time of the incident and may have witnessed the assault to contact them.
