TWO children may have witnessed a burglary at a house in Stockton in which a man was threatened with a knife.
The children were in the address on Outram Street when the incident took place, at around 7pm on Saturday, January 3.
Two men made their way into the home and the 50-year-old male occupant was threatened with a knife. The men stole a Blue Acer Iconia tablet and a red and black Nintento DS3 console. They then escaped on pedal cycles across Yarm Road into Leybourn Terrace.
The suspects are described as aged 25-30 years old and they were wearing dark clothing.
Detectives would appeal for any witnesses to the incident or anyone with information about the identity of the suspects or about the whereabouts of the stolen property to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Kenneth Clark on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
