POLICE are hoping the public will come forward to help catch a flasher after a disappointing response to an appeal.

Cleveland Police said they hoped that describing the clothing of a man wanted in connection with two indecent exposures in Redcar would jog people's memories.

The first incident took place at about 8pm on Wednesday, November 19 on the junction of Penrith Close and West Dyke Road in Redcar. The man is described as white, wearing a black scarf which covered his face, exposing only his eyes, a red high-visibility jacket and dark-coloured trousers.

The second incident took place the following day at about 6.50pm Thursday , November 20 at the junction of Coatham Road and Elliot Street in Redcar. The man is described as again, white, around 5ft 8ins tall, wearing something dark over his face. This time the man was wearing a high visibility orange jacket and high visibility orange trousers with black boots.

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Glen Harland of Redcar CID on 101.
