A MAN was beaten with golf clubs in an attack in South Bank, Middlesbrough.
The victim suffered head injuries and a broken arm.
"The assault happened at around 12.30am on Saturday, September 27, somewhere between Hartcourt Road and South Terrace," said a spokeswoman for Cleveland Police.
"The 41-year-old victim was attacked by a number of males, who are believed to have used golf clubs to assault him.
"The man was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he received treatment for a broken arm and head injuries. He received eight staples to his head."
