THREE men have appeared in court charged with false imprisonment after allegedly holding a vulnerable woman with learning difficulties against her will.
Daniel Alderson, 20, of Farrer Street, Darlington and Philip Pringle, 24, of Clifton Road, Darlington, did not enter any pleas when they appeared before magistrates in Peterlee today (Monday, August 11).
Sean Wolfe, 41, of Waverley Terrace, Darlington, is also charged with sexually assaulting the woman, who has disabilities. He did not enter pleas to either charge.
The offence is alleged to have taken place on Friday, August 9, at Mr Pringle’s home.
Magistrates committed the case to Teesside Crown Court on Tuesday, August 26. All three were granted conditional bail.
