Peter Stoker, of John Street, Shildon, appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court charged with seven sexual offences
A MAN has appeared before magistrates charged with seven sexual offences against underage boys.
Peter Stoker, of John Street, Shildon, faces three charges of indecent assault and one charge of committing an act of gross indecency to a boy under the age of 14.
Mr Stoker, 56, also faces a further three charges of assault by touching a boy under 13 years.
Four of the alleged offences are said to have taken place in the 1980s and 1990s.
The remaining three charges relate to alleged incidents last year.
Mr Stoker did not enter a plea when he appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates today (Friday, July 11) and the case was committed to Durham Crown Court on Friday, July 25.
Mr Stoker received unconditional bail.
