PATRIOTIC traders can still sign up for a pitch at a five-day party in Hartlepool celebrating the Queen's 60-year reign.
The Diamond Festival runs from Friday to Tuesday, June 1 to 5, with stands still available on the Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 11pm, for stall holders specialising in 1950s vintage or retro items or those selling snacks, such asburgers, fish and chips, coffee and cakes.
Highlights of the festival, which is being held in or around the town's Maritime Experience, include a medley of classic films, such as Lady and the Tramp, Jailhouse Rock and Some Like It Hot, and a street party.
Katie Hammond, of Hartlepool Borough Council's festival organising team, said: "If your business has a 1950s flavour to it and you feel it will complement our event, we'd like to hear from you."
Formore information and a trader's information pack, including cost details, contact Ms Hammond before Monday, April 30, on 01429-523459 or email Katie.hammond@hartlepool.gov.uk
