Qualifications

GCSEs in information communications technology, resistant materials and PE; completed plastering and joinery training at Nacro; also has training in tiling and brick-laying. Peter is now working towards NVQ level two in welding and fabrication at South West Durham Training, and needs an apprenticeship to enable him to complete his qualification. Peter has a full driving licence and his own transport.

About

I WOULD be more than happy to take an apprenticeship or work experience. An apprenticeship would enable me to finish my NVQ qualification.

Ideally, I would like to get something with a big company which would enable me to get the codings I would need to work offshore, as that has been my ambition for years. I like to work with my hands.

I have my own house and I have done a lot of the work on it myself. I fitted my own kitchen, plastered all the walls and tiled the bathroom. I also put in all the flooring.

I am enthusiastic and committed, with a positive attitude, friendly personality and a good sense of humour. I am motivated and hardworking.
