"I HAVE applied to Darlington Borough Council and one other employer. I have wanted to work in childcare ever since I did work experience in Harrowgate Hill School with infants. I really enjoyed it.

"I set my heart on working with young children since then, ideally in a nursery setting.

"I like to socialise, I am a happy person and I am also very hardworking. I would say I am committed to what I do. I like to do a job and do it to a good standard. I am also lively and talkative.

"I like to be with adults, but I love to be with children.

"Growing up, I have been surrounded by lots of other children - a brother, a sister and lots of nieces and nephews."
