Gavin Havery

Born and raised in Gateshead, Gavin studied history and professional writing at Sheffield Hallam University where he was assistant editor of S-Press, the student magazine. After training to be a reporter with the NCTJ at Sheffield College he worked for the Worksop Guardian for three years before leaving to join the Northern Echo as senior reporter in 2002. Gavin is also a photographer and an accomplished video journalist.
