In the NTSL only two matches survived the weather which again favoured leaders Tynedale.
They stayed out in front with a 25-runs victory against Annfield Plain in which Kiwi Ross Laidlaw hit the high spots with a match winning 90, and 6 sixes in his 11 boundaries.
Sacriston also fell short when they lost by 58 runs at Morpeth. Ian Jones hit 33 as the Durham side were bowled out for 147 chasing a Morpeth total of 205-7 scored in 50 overs, including a 70 from Aussie Ray Cooper. Ian Hunter bowled well to take four wickets in a 15-over stint.
