A NORTH-EAST bus driver has become an unlikely international star for his heroic driving in the winter weather.
A video showing the Arriva bus driving up Saltburn bank with the alacrity of a mountain goat, while cars slither and slide, has been posted on You Tube.
By last night the video - called How To Get Up Saltburn Bank - had recorded more than 20,000 hits.
Another video, showing a car sliding into a gatepost, is an object lesson in what not to do in the snow.
