FAMILY and friends have paid tribute to a young father who was killed when the cherrypicker he was working in hit overhead power lines.
The funeral of Bradley Gardner, 25, who died on May 11, took place at St Gregory’s Church, in Bedale, North Yorkshire, today.
Mr Gardner was in the bucket of the machine, helping to build a large shed, when he was electrocuted by wires thought to be carrying more than 11,000 volts.
The police and Health and Safety Executive are carrying out an investigation into the incident.
Mr Gardner leaves his partner of eight years, Elsa Robinson, and two daughters, Kimi, four, and Nikki, two.
