A MAN has been charged with attempted murder and making threats to kill following a stabbing incident in the region.
Police in Middlesbrough last night revealed the charges had been brought against a 19-year-old they had been questioning about an incident in Arnside Avenue, Pallister Park, in the town, on Sunday.
In the incident, a man was stabbed several times and was last night recovering following surgery at South Cleveland Hospital. His condition was described as stable.
The man who has been charged is due to appear before Teesside Magistrates' Court this morning
