Police are investigating an armed robbery at a North-East social club.
Three masked men ran into Lemington Social Club, Newcastle, at noon on Tuesday, threatening the steward with firearms. They escaped with a quantity of cash in a red Vauxhall Astra, stolen at the Newcastle Quayside on December 30. The car was later found burned out in Bewick Crescent
