After a couple of recent disappointments, the Under-16s came back to form in their last scheduled league games of the season, beating South Bank Juniors at home 5-1 and gaining promotion into the bargain for the second season in a row.

As a result, they finished equal first on points with Thornhill Juniors and the two teams will play off for the division three championship.

In appalling conditions the U-16s led South Bank 3-0 by half time and while the away side put more pressure on in the second half and pulled a goal back, Allstars scored two more goals to finish worthy winners.

Midfielder and man of the match Paul Tills helped himself to a hat-trick, Stuart Ford hit his 20th of the season and Paul Strickland his 11th.

The Under-13s visited Nunthorpe Athletic and gained a 2-0 victory, a fourth league win of the season which strengthened their chance of division two survival. In an excellent team performance man of the match Martin Moscrop and Thomas Reeves got the goals.

After waiting nearly a full season for their first win, the Under-13 Colts made it two successive wins with a marvellous 9-1 home victory to Teesside Bridge which was down to total dedication and persistence. Marc Tills notched a hat-trick, Stephen Oliver made it 13 for the season with two goals and Chris Trumper, Adam Kappel, Johnny Maddison and Robert Bates (his first for the club) got one each. The man of the match award was shared between Oliver and Tills.

The Under-11s kept on course for promotion with a comprehensive 10-0 victory at Ingleby Barwick. Jack Henderson and Lee Mullis both got hat-tricks, Freddie Huscroft (2) and Robbie Gardner and Shaun Marshall one each. Mullis was man of the match.

In the first of a two-game weekend, the Under-17s travelled to Hartlepool Marinas and recorded their third league win of the season. An excellent team performance brought a 1-0 victory courtesy of a goal from man of the match Dean Lowson. In a home game against divisional leaders Staincliffe Juniors, the Under-17s gave a determined and resolute performance but just lost 2-1. Jonathan Raine got the goal and Ben Spence was man of the match.

The Under-12 Colts' schedule of games has become almost impossible with three games played in five days and many more to come. Firstly, they travelled to high flying Cleveland Juniors and were comprehensively beaten 5-0 after a lacklustre display. Lewis Franklin was man of the match. However, the return game, which was played at home two days later and followed a strong talk from management, was a different story, the Colts gaining a well deserved point with a 1-1 draw responding magnificently and battling bravely to the last. Man of the match Nicky Fox got the goal. Finally, a trip to leaders Marton Hall Drive saw Colts 4-0 down at half-time but a good second half display brought respectability to the final scoreline of 5-2. Fox scored another two and he was again man of the match.

After a run of four successive victories the Under-15 Colts were disappointed at only managing a 3-3 draw at Norton and Stockton Ancients. The Colts took the whole thing far too easily and paid the price in a game they should have won by a street. Gary Buckley, Michael Gibbon and Tommy Wright scored the goals and Steve McCready was man of the match. Then in their final game of the season at home to ten-men Roseworth Social Juniors, the Under-15 Colts finished off in style with a 10-3 win despite Roseworth taking the lead. Wright hit five goals bringing his final total to 42 (three better than last season) and McCready scored four making his final total 27. Buckley got the other and goalkeeper Peter Mears actually won man of the match for an outstanding display.

The Under-12s had two games, the first against division one leaders Marton Hall Drive at home. Unlucky to be 2-0 down at half-time, Allstars fought valliantly against a technically strong side but a Jonathan Vinton goal was not enough Allstars losing 5-1. Richard Hughes was man of the match. Then in an away game at Tennis World the Under-12 were 3-0 up by half time. The home side came back strongly in the second period but Allstarfs ran out 4-1 winners. Vinton got a brace of goals and Kyle Swankie and Dale Sheridan one each. Man of the match was Thomas Shann.

The Under-14s were in derby action at home to Spraire Lads and lost 2-0. A bright first half display was followed by a second half dominated by the away side with a resolute defence keeping them at bay until the last five minutes when the two goals were scored. Ian Gray was man of the match. The Under-14s completed their league campaign at North Ormesby and were 4-0 down at the interval, however, a spirited second half display saw Allstars reduce the deficit through Stephen Howden's ninth goal of the season, the final score being 4-1. Man of the match was Iain Braithwaite.

The Under-15s at home to Billingham Town trailed 3-2 at the end of a close first half, the Allstars' goals coming from Scott Hodgson and Nick Lyons. The second half was a different story with heads dropping and a final 9-2 defeat. Stand-in goalkeeper Matthew Pearson was man of the match. The Under-15s turned the form book on its head with a magnificent 3-2 win at division one leaders Marton FC, the goals coming from Anthony Pepper, man of the match Paul Burrows and Adam Wilson.

In the Richmondshire Youth League the Under-11 Colts entertained Richmond Town and disappointingly lost 6-1 after equalising early in the second half. Adam Shann got the goal and David Kelly was man of the match.

At seven-a-side level, the Under-10s completed their solid first season in division one of the Teesside Junior Alliance with a 1-1 home draw against Fishburn Boys who consequently finished runners-up. Man of the match Daniel groves got the Allstars' goal. In a subsequent friendly the Under-10s beat Fishburn 3-0 with two goals from Ross Burton and one from Luke Scarr. Man of the match was Jack Johns.

Also at seen-a-side level the Under-Eights travelled to Catterick Village and put in two excellent performances winning 3-0 and 7-1. Nick Crowe helped himself to a hat-trick in the second game and the other scorers were Jack Whittaker (2), Philip Park (2), Bradley Simpson, Shane Champbell and James Humble. Men of the matches were Whittaker and Crowe.
