Four candidates will contest a by-election for a vacant seat in Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's Loftus ward on Thursday, June 7.
They are: Dave Fitzpatrick (East Cleveland Independent); Susan McLeod (Labour); Val Miller (Liberal Democrat) and Marjorie Veal (Conservative).
The by-election has been called following the resignation of Labour councillor William Rye.
