COMMUNITY centres are being asked to help a support group.

Take Heart support groups help people who suffer with heart disease. More than 250 recovering cardiology patients regularly take part in weekly meetings at eight venues in south Cleveland.

However, the group is running out of room because more heart patients are contacting its coordinators to join the sessions.

Malcolm Griffiths, chairman of the Take Heart Group coordinating committee, has asked members to contact local authorities, community groups, religious organisations and other groups that might have under-used premises.

Rooms need to be reasonably sized, have secure car parking, and refreshment facilities. Anyone who can help should call the group's secretary on (01642) 491655.
