GENEROUS workers at a Darlington company put on their walking boots to raise money for charity.
About 30 workers at engineering firm Amec, in Neasham Road, took part in a sponsored walk on May 18 and raised £2,830 for Darlington Young Carers. The firm holds a charity walk each year to support local causes.
