Apollo Doors Gateshead Youth League: Heworth are still out on top of the Under-11 division after seeing off the challenge from Winlaton by a 4-0 margin.

Prudhoe Town also scored four times, but Leam Rangers managed three in reply to make for an exciting finale. Ben Smith struck a hat-trick for Prudhoe, while Kris Hall bagged a brace of goals for Rangers.

Stuart Smith was another player to score twice as Hebburn Reyrolle defeated Felling Magpies 3-1.

In the Under-12 section Leam Rangers Y have a two points lead over Chopwell, who have played one game fewer than their rivals. Whickham Fellside R produced the biggest score of the day hitting Consett with a 7-0 defeat when Chris Smith and Lewis McKay both scored twice.

Leam Rangers G and Cleveland Hall were engaged in an eight goal thriller which Rangers won 5-3. Mark Patterson scored twice for Rangers as did Andrew Woodcock for Cleveland Hall.

Redheugh enjoyed a narrow 2-1 victory at home to Blackfyne. Swalwell were equally hard pressed before ending 3-2 ahead of Blaydon, while Beamish and Winlaton fought out a 1-1 draw.

Chopwell lifted the league cup defeating Whickham Fellside Blues 3-2. Elliott Miller scored both goals for Whickham and Scott Ruddick also struck twice for Chopwell.

Redheugh easily lifted the Under-13 league cup defeating Blackfyne 5-0 in the final when Charlie Lamb bagged a brace of goals.

Only one game was played in the league and victory for Low Fell B by a 2-1 margin at Consett enabled them to close the gap to a couple of points on leaders Redheugh, who have the cushion of two games in hand.

In the Under-14 section two games went ahead and Redheugh defeated Blaydon 4-0 to take a three points lead over Blackfyne who dropped down into second position. Don Morrissey scored twice for the Reds.

Leam Rangers hammered bottom of the table Cooperhall 9-0 with Daryl Iveson (4) and Craig Molley (2) scoring.

In the Under-15 division Cleveland Hall won 3-1 at Consett while fourth from top Leam Rangers defeated Felling 3-2.

A brace of goals by James Prince enabled Stocksfield to win 2-0 at Redheugh. James Carr rifled five goals in Ryton's 7-0 defeat of Rutherford and a brace of goals from Harry James was the feature of Blackfyne's win at Beamish.
