Both Boldon and Horden collected maximum points last week, but the latter appear to have the more difficult task of maintaining their 100 per cent record today in the Federation Special Durham Senior League against current champions Burnmoor. The Moors are forced into one change. Gary Brown's unavailability means Michael Callaghan comes into the team. Boldon travel to Whitburn and include Philip Shakespeare on his return to his former club. Whitburn name Gary Ventress in their line-up to strengthen the batting.

Hetton Lyons, who were thwarted by the weather last week make the short trip to Eppleton. The local derby sees Colin Barnes included for Steve Errington in the Lyons side.

Johnny Wightman joins a South Shields line-up for their game with neighbours Marsden. John Dunn and Owen Peterson, who made the move back to Shields after a season at Marsden, also play to add an edge to this match.

Two sides likely to compete for The Readers Durham County League championship are in opposition when Evenwood host Esh Winning. The home side were buoyed at bowling out Sedgefield for just 29 last weekend while Esh Winning were thrilled at the form of new Pakistani professional Ata-ur-Rehman. Esh are still minus Neil Arrowsmith and Stephen Dunn and name Carl Turner for Chris Hurst. Crook Town are back to full strength for their local derby at Willington.
