Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott visits Wallsend today to see Tyneside's world-class shipbuilding and offshore facilities.
He will also tour the oil and gas industry's Opportunities roadshow, which will visit 30 campuses in the UK and Ireland to promote careers in the sector.
