A junior version of the popular BBC television programme The Antiques Roadshow visited York yesterday.
The show was filmed in the city's National Railway Museum, home to the largest collection of railway artefacts in the world.
Regular presenter Michael Aspel was joined by Children's BBC presenter Fearne Cotton, who hosts The Saturday Show, Smile and Top of the Pops Saturday, for the annual junior version of the show.
Among the experts giving advice were Henry Sandon, Hilary Kay, Tim Wonnanott, Bunny Campione, David Battie and Lars Tharp.
Antiques Roadshow - The Next Generation is aimed at young people interested in learning more about their collections.
The programme is due to be transmitted next month.
Items featured have included fishing reels, paper knives, Cabbage Patch dolls, brooches, wine glasses, clay pipes and corkscrews.
