AN annual search to find talented, young musicians has been launched.
The Rotary Club of Chester-le-Street and the James Etherington Music Trust are looking for promising young musicians or singers living in Chester-le-Street and Durham areas.
Finalists are invited to give a performance on April 27, in the Methodist Church, Market Place, Chester-le-Street.
The winning prize is £300 and a silver trophy and there is a £100 prize for the runner-up.
Application forms are available from Park View Community School, Chester-le-Street, or by writing to The General Office, Park View Community School, Church Chare, Ches-ter-le-Street, Co Durham, DH3 3QA.
Closing date is Friday, February 27.
