Man arrested after spending more than three hours on house roof

A MAN who clambered off a roof was arrested by police on suspicion of causing criminal damage this afternoon.

A police operation was launched after officers were called at 12.35pm today to a house in Lancaster Road, Grangetown on the outskirts of Middlesbrough.

The man, who stood on the roof finally came down at 4pm.

in my home country the authorities would have water cannoned him down,or if he was a pest they would have shot him down. the idiot.

...for once, Billy's hit on something. The police here are damned if they do and damned if they don't; let him jump or try and take him down by force and they're getting sued if it goes wrong- do nothing and wait till he gets bored and everyone moans they're not doing anything. As Billy said, there's plenty of countries where they'd just waterhose this cretin down...

The country will be either Iran or Saudi, they know what to do with clowns like this. The stupid guy should have been left up there to his own defences, after a few days without a pint he would soon come down. What a wast of taxpayer money, hope they send him the bill, but I will guess he is on the dole or welfare, send him to Iraq in a uniform and make a man out of him. At the moment he is a complete fool in need of an eduaction and some military training.

I appreciate this could give me the dubious honour of being the first person to be proved wrong by him but hey, I'm over it already. FACT!

Back to the guy on the roof. Sure this knobhead didn't just hop off the legendary beer-scooter at the wrong stop?
