THREE people have been arrested after a burglary at the Corus site in Redcar.
Police were called to the plant at 4.15am today, and subsequently attended an address at Eglington Avenue in Grangetown, where they arrested three local men aged 16, 21 and 21 on suspicion of burglary.
A search of the address was carried out and an air rifle was recovered.
The three men were then further arrested for possession of a firearm and are currently in custody.
Police are appealing for anyone with information or who was in the area at the time and who may have seen anything to contact Redcar and Cleveland CID on 01642-302626.
