A MAN was killed when his car left the road and collided with a tree in North Yorkshire.
Police believe the man, who was in his 40s, was driving home from a shoot on the moors with his son.
The collision took place at about 2pm on Saturday, November 28 on the Pateley Bridge to Lofthouse road, at Gouthwaite.
The black Land Rover collided with the tree and flipped over onto its roof.
The man was trapped inside the vehicle, but was pronounced dead at the scene.
His son, who was in his 20s, suffered only minor injuries.
The road was closed for four hours following the incident.
