A KILLER boasted to friends that he ate a kebab as he watched his partner bleed to death after fatally stabbing her.
Marcel Allan, 42, knifed mother-of-three Lisa Leckenby five times in the back, before stamping on her head and watching her die as he ate a takeaway.
After killing the 28-year-old on August 8 this year, Allan tried to get friends to help him dispose of her body by putting it in a wheelie bin, taking it to a beach and burning it.
That night he also rang other friends boasting that he had stabbed Miss Leckenby.
He told ex-partner Patricia Douglas: "I've killed Lisa.
"I've stabbed her and I watched her take her last breath as I sat eating a kebab with chilli sauce.
"It was red and I said "This is your blood bitch"."
He also boasted that he was going to return to the home they shared in Tenth Street, Blackhall, County Durham, and have sex with Miss Leckenby's body.
Newcastle Crown Court heard that Allan showed Miss Douglas a picture of Miss Leckenby's children on a key ring and sneered: "Oh too bad, you haven't got a mother anymore."
Allan also withdrew £150 of her money from a cash machine, telling a friend: "The bitch does not need it because she is dead now."
The following day Allan - pretending to be someone else - called police to tell them that Miss Leckenby's body was at their home.
Allan smirked as prosecutor Mark Guiliani told the court of the horrifying details of the case.
Mr Guiliani said the couple had a turbulent relationship caused by their excessive drinking.
At the time of the murder Allan was serving a four-month prison sentence suspended for two years after admitting common assault against Miss Leckenby, the prosecutor said.
Robert Woodcock QC, defending, said: "He has no clear recollection of these events."
Allan, of Tenth Street, Blackhall, County Durham, admitted murder.
Judge Esmond Faulks jailed Allan for life and told him he will spend at least 15 years in prison before he can be released.
"All things considered this was a horrible and unforgivable killing," the judge said.
"You subjected Lisa Leckenby to a violent assault. You punched her in the face and you stabbed her in the back five times.
"You admitted after stabbing her you stamped on her face and let her bleed to death on the floor in your house.
"When you spoke to witnesses about what you had done, you showed no remorse, even boasting of the killing, saying she deserved it."
