Princess Eugenie to study in North-East - reports

PRINCESS Eugenie will study English and history of art at Newcastle University, it was reported today.

The Queen's 19-year-old granddaughter will start her degree after completing a gap year which has seen her go travelling with friends.

According to reports, she visited the campus yesterday and explored possible accommodation for the first of her three years in the North-East.

The Princess scored A grades in English and art and a B in history of art in her A-levels after studying at Marlborough College in Wiltshire.

Newcastle University, which has 18,000 students, can trace its origins back to a medical school established in 1834, and has been expanded since 1945 to take up a 50-acre site in the city centre.

A student survey last year named Newcastle as the best city to live in, and it boasts a lively social scene, with hundreds of pubs, clubs and bars.

It was not known if Eugenie will take up a place in halls of residence or rent privately.

But she will be accompanied by her police protection staff, whichever she chooses.

Former Newcastle University students include comic actor Rowan Atkinson, singer Bryan Ferry and journalist Kate Adie.

Isn't she the fat one that likes to show off her flesh?

She'll fit in well with the lasses in the Toon.

Steady on sweetheart, no sense of humour or what?

She won't meet my 'porker' mother anywhere, as she died ten years ago ....... of anorexia.....the skinny cow.

What does 'here wares' mean? Can't spell, no sense of humour, probably a Geordie, and queer? Some people do get a bum deal in life....what a gay drey....

Have I bitten or what?
