Four in hospital after car leaves A1(M)

FOUR people were taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital this afternoon after a car left the A1(M) between the Aycliffe and Bradbury junctions.

The car crashed into a field shortly before 2.30pm. Three of the injured were taken to hospital by ambulance while a fourth was taken by air ambulance. The extent of their injuries is not known.
